My Path To Flight Attendant

Wow, what an adventure! So yesterday, I finished the final part of the hiring process with a major airlines to become a flight attendant. It was not an easy process or a quick one, and I hope this blog post helps answer any questions that you might have about the whole process. I became interested in this position thanks to my uncle, who has been a flight attendant for over 27 years with US Airways, and who absolutely loves it! Keep reading for the process I went through to be hired! (more…)

My thoughts on how to be a value giver

It has been a little while since I wrote an editorial piece, so I figured it was about time again. I am going to be writing about how to be a value giver, which to me is the epitome of what it means to be a good person and human. This of course, is my opinion, so feel free to disagree, but I find that to be a good friend, a good person, or just a decent human being, you need to give value. What does that mean?  (more…)

The Key To Social Dynamics (Or How To Make Friends)

Today I had an interesting conversation with a friend, and we talked about a few things that I have really been thinking about. Specifically, the issue of friends. I am blessed to have many friends, from many walks of life, and he had mentioned to me how difficult it is to make friends. I took a moment to think about the many friends I have accumulated throughout my life, and realized that honestly, it’s quite easy, at least below the surface it is. Read on for my thoughts. (more…)

New Facebook Cover

So, I have a thing about Facebook covers. I really like making them. Its almost therapeutic in a way. I thoroughly enjoy putting them together and making them fit my personality. I honestly think that Facebook did a good job with its redesign. Yes, Timeline and all. Anyway, long and short, hit the read more button to view my latest cover and let me know what you think of it in the comments. Hopefully I will have many more here in the near future.  (more…)

Confidence, and what it means to me

I have been spending a lot of time thinking about confidence, and what it means. How some people seem naturally confident in their skin, and others are not. Well, I ran into an article the other day that  really helped me understand it better. You can find the article here, and if you have a few minutes, I recommend you check it out. I have always lived my life in the moment, and that can be a blessing and a curse at the same time. It is good because I definitely come across as very confident in myself, but sometimes it is bad, because I live so much in the moment that I become oblivious of myself. Part of it is that I forget things easily, because I am so focused on what is going on at the moment, and I also don’t think ahead to the future and what the consequences of my actions hold. It’s something I want to work on, to help balance it out, so that I continue to live in the moment, but I also want to be aware of my past and future. Especially now that I am running my own business. It is easy to forget your other customers when you are working with your current customer, and that is something I want to avoid. I also created the facebook cover below, feel free to use it if you like it. (more…)

How to talk to women: One simple technique which will prevent you from blanking out

You walk up to a woman and say “Hey”. She smiles and says “Hi”. And then what do you do? Well you need to keep a conversation going! Because if you are not talking to her in a smooth and controlled manner, you’re probably not going to be able to get her number let alone take her home with you. Keeping a conversation alive with a woman can be difficult. My mind just used to go blank and I was never sure of what I should talk about. But after years of working on this and observing some of the best seducers talking to women, I finally understand how you can use conversation as a tool to attract women.

In this post I will show you a conversation technique which will help you keep a conversation going for as long as you want. If you can master this simple technique, you can have the confidence to approach anyone, not just beautiful women, and start talking. I will also show you how you should approach conversation with women, because after all, a woman’s thought processes are completely different from a man’s. (more…)

Life In The Fast Lane

Dealing With Attention Deficit Disorder In High School

“If you do not do something about your child I will retire from teaching! I simply cannot control him.” My kindergarten teacher spoke these words as she stormed off, leaving my mother dumbstruck and with a terrible feeling of failure. My constant interruptions in class had finally worn through my teachers nerves, further frustrating her because I was sincerely sorry for my actions and wished to correct them but unable to. I sunk into a feeling of frustration and despair, believing that I was, as was termed by my teachers, “lazy and uncooperative.” I was shortly thereafter referred to a local doctor and then a psychologist for testing. My parents’ worst fear was that I had Bipolar (maniac depression) Disorder. As it turned out, this was not the case. Instead I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Read on for more about this disorder. (more…)

Facebook Etiquette

Today I want to talk about Facebook (Or Social Media) etiquette. I have noticed a growing trend on Facebook recently, that I like to call “Machine Gun Posting.” If I have added you as a friend on Facebook, it means that I genuinely like you. But, if you are going to be posting a new status update every 30 seconds, we need to rethink this whole Facebook friendship thing. So below is a list of things I think make for good Facebook etiquette. Don’t like it? Then friend me on Twitter instead. Read on for the list. (more…)

Political Ads – You stab me, I stab you!

Groupe sanguinWow, election season is here, and boy do I hate it! Don’t get me wrong, I am all about democracy, and that elections are important. What I absolutely HATE is the political ads… When election season rolls around, it seems that everyone loses their marbles and start accusing their opponents of everything under the sun. (more…)
