Becoming (8)

Author’s Note: Becoming

These pieces were written during a period of transition, when familiar structures fell away and I was forced to examine what remained.

Rather than recount events or assign blame, I chose metaphor: not to obscure the truth, but to approach it with enough distance to allow reflection instead of reaction.

Becoming is about growth and accountability: learning to take responsibility without hardening, to sit with uncertainty without losing direction, and to build forward with intention.

This is not an explanation of the past. It was a reflection of my feelings in the moment.

If there is a philosophy beneath these words, it is this:
We are always becoming, and who we become is shaped less by what happens to us than by how we respond.
